2009-03-30 - 5:21 p.m. Jack Contemplates Love And The Internet Sometimes it seems easier to believe my therapist. You never really knew or loved anyone on the internet. Because it isn't "real." She can tell me how I feel. But she can not make me feel it. Maybe sometimes I know what I am talking about. I know. Because I was there. I was somewhere you have never been. I experienced something you have a problem even imagining. Something that is happening outside psychology books. Something that is happening every day. In the mind. Isn't that what psychology is supposed to be about? Maybe psychology is too busy telling the mind what it should be about. In the right context, that can be a good thing. Everything has two sides. Sometimes it is good to get a breath of fresh air outside our own heads. But sometimes, you're right. No matter what anyone tries to tell you. You know what you have always known. You always will. Even if you could never explain it. You know it's true. It's called just trusting yourself.
