The Old Antagonist's Friend Dies
The same day I got the phone call that started all this shit, I learned the Antagonist's bestfriend died.
According to my brother, he was completely distraught.
He was there when he got the call.
He said that he just began sobbing uncontrollably.
This is hard to imagine. I did not even see him cry when his mother died. Then again I was only a kid.
Even harder to imagine was the Antagonist staying in his room for days.
It made me a little sad to hear about the old tyrant's heart breaking. It almost made him seem human. Almost.
I began wondering how long it had been since they even talked.
Had it been years?
Then suddenly one day, his friend is dead?
It happens that fast.
Then I replaced his bestfriend with me.
What if suddenly one day, I was dead.
Just like that.
Dead.
How would he react?
The same?
Worse?
Would he even really care?
Then I asked myself, why the fuck do I care?
Why am I even thinking about this?
